Abstract

Nanotechnology has revolutionized the field of drug delivery, particularly in cancer therapy, by offering a method for targeted and efficient delivery of therapeutic agents. This article explores the role of nanotechnology in cancer treatment, discussing recent innovations, challenges, and the potential of nanocarriers to enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy while minimizing side effects. The article also reviews the current state of research in the field, highlights the types of nanoparticles used in drug delivery, and examines the hurdles that need to be overcome for clinical translation. Through a comprehensive discussion, the article aims to provide a holistic view of the innovations and challenges in nanotechnology-based cancer therapy.
