Abstract

The concept of social justice is central to the functioning of any democratic society, and its application within the legal system is crucial for ensuring fairness and equality before the law. However, the legal system, particularly in Pakistan, has long been marred by various forms of bias, leading to significant disparities in the administration of justice. This paper critically examines the manifestations of court bias within the Pakistani legal framework and explores its implications for the pursuit of social justice. By analyzing case studies, empirical data, and theoretical frameworks, the paper argues that bias in the judicial process undermines the principle of equality before the law and perpetuates societal inequalities. It also evaluates the efforts made by the Pakistani legal system to address this issue and suggests possible reforms for a more inclusive and fair legal system.
